MURCONDAL AUTOMATION can design, manufacture and then install all your batching, conveying and product handling systems. 
The systems vary from fully to semi automated, depending on your requirements and all of which is accompanied with full mechanical and electrical manuals on CD and in hard copy.

Engineering
Engineering - Powder Batching System
The machine illustrated here is a powder batching system. All the powders are held in large 1 ton flow bins and screw feeders are then used to feed the powders into batching scales and then via PLC control all powders are batched in sequence to ensure continuous and error free production runs.
We are also able to programme the machine to batch oils and additives to very fine quantities, all scaled correctly and logged on a monitoring SCADA which will alarm if any batch is not within the required tolerances.
Engineering - Batching Station
The batching station illustrated here was manufactured by us from design stages to installation. All frame work, scales and hoppers were designed, tested and installed by our installation technicians.
Engineering - A Small High Volume Aluminium Plant
This illustrates one our most exciting projects ever - a small high volume aluminium plant. The plant is controlled by a PLC and HMI where all data during casting is logged and charted with our custom designed software. Any deviances in temperatures are alarmed and sent immediately to the relevant parties via SMS and email to prevent any flaws in the casting product.
MURCONDAL AUTOMATION designed, installed and commissioned the MCC, Thyristor and induction heaters. All heaters are controlled via the PLC in PID
Engineering - CNC Profile Cutter
Here we illustrate our engineering skills in high accuracy and pinpoint control machinery. This machine is a CNC profile cutter which uses hot wires across its bed to slice through polystyrene. The wires are heated by thyristor control and heat is set via controlling the amperage.
The accuracy of this machine is within 0.5 mm when stepper motors are used and even better accuracy is achieved when servo motors are used. Custom software is used which controls an 8 axis controller.

This shows the above machine completed and running full production. Daily production for this company was almost doubled with this machine which MURCONDAL AUTOMATION built the machine to custom specifications in order to suit plant layout and product flow of the customer.
By simply improving the flow of the product we eliminated all of the problems which occurred with the customers previous machine due to bottlenecks within the process.
Engineering - Pipe Section Coating Machine
This is a pipe section coating machine which MURCONDAL AUTOMATION designed for a customer with special requirements in the refrigeration industry. The machine coats pipe sections with an adhesive and then applies a thin layer of foil which adds to insulation.
The machine can coat pipe sections from as small as 80mm ID to 200mm with the simple press of a button. Feed rate and coating thickness is adjustable and the whole operation is quick and easy to operate.

Batching Plant
Batching
MURCONDAL AUTOMATION has designed, manufactured and installed batching stations for the PVC compounding industry. This illustration was taken of a system where we were batching 3 powders to scales as well as 7 oils. All were sequenced by a PLC controller and recipes were stored within a HMI.
A logging and batch alarming program was also installed by us which alerted when any batches were out of specification by sending text messages and emails and setting off audible alarms in the factory.
Batching
Here are bulk bag dispensers which could be changed during production and without stopping the machine. Each bulk bag had a small one batch reservoir underneath.
Product was moved to the top of scales with the aid of screw conveyors which we controlled to enable continuous accuracy.
Batching
MURCONDAL AUTOMATION manufactured, designed and installed the frame, hoppers and oils batching system. The frame extends above the platform and was designed to be assembled on site with minimal disruption to the factory and not causing production stoppages.
CAD Design
AutoCAD
MURCONDAL AUTOMATION uses AutoCAD to design with which assists in designing your machine to your specifications. The design is presented to our customers in concept in 3D design. This design will enable you, our customer, to see where and how the new equipment will fit into your plant and will therefore allow you to start making the required arrangements to facilitate the arrival of your new machine.
